Two colleagues joined Shanghai team of our department this week which makes my life in the company completely changed. Since one year ago, I have been working at x company. At the beginning, I and the other colleagues worked in China, however, he quickly left the company due to his personal reasons and left me alone. After that, I get used to the life that I connected with my colleagues only by emails and Webex meetings due to the long distance between us. Sometimes, I felt that it was a good thing, because I was so freedom that I did not pay too much on my dress and expressions. I enjoyed such kind of life and work here. Sometimes, I felt a little bit alone. Due to the language barrier, I couldnot completely communicate some problems to my peer colleagues abroad. At such condition, I hoped I could have a colleague who I was able to discuss with. Now, such kind of contradiction is gone and I have to adjust myself to welcome a brand new life here.

Two colleagues joined the Shanghai team of our department this week which makes my life in the company completely different / which changes my life in the company. Since a year ago, I have been working at x company. At/in the beginning, the other colleagues (which other colleagues?) and I worked in China, however, he quickly left the company due to personal reasons and left me alone. After that, I have gotten used to being connected with my colleagues only by email and Webex meetings due to the long distance between us. Sometimes, I felt that it was a good thing, because I was so free that I did not pay too much attention to the way i dress and expressions (what do u mean expressions?). I enjoyed the kind of life and work here. Sometimes, I felt a little bit alone and due to the language barrier, I could not completely communicate some problems to my peers abroad. In that kind of situation, I hoped I could have a colleague who I was able to discuss things with. Now, such kind of contradiction <— what do you mean? is gone and I have to adapt and welcome a brand new life here.
