“Why did you choose to go Germany?” This was one of the questions, which I was asked again and again. Actually, I never thought about it neither before I went to Germany nor after I came back to China. Going to Germany was just like something happened naturally. When I got my bachelor degree and got the opportunity to further my study at the same university, I realized that I had already stayed in Shanghai for 4 years and would stay there for another 3 years. I felt kind of bored in that case. At that time I heard that our law school would start two master’s programs with German universities. So I started to learn German, passed the test, and then went to Germany to get another master degree.

“Why did you choose to go Germany?” This is one of the questions, I am asked again and again. Actually, I never thought about it, neither before I went to Germany, nor after I came back to China. Going to Germany was just something that happened naturally.

When I got my bachelor’s degree, I had the opportunity to further my education at the same university, but I had already stayed in Shanghai for 4 years and would have to stay here for another 3 years, if I decided to do that. I felt that it would be kind of boring. At that time I heard that our law school would start two master’s programs in partnership with German universities. So I started to learn German, passed the test, and went to Germany to get another master’s degree.
