Email Service Notes 19th February (Tony)

Today, I hung out with my friend Lisa for a dinner. We planned to meet in the restaurant at 5:00pm.

When I arrived in the restaurant, I found she had not been there yet, then I sent message to her on WeChat,

“Where are you?”
“On the way, but I would be late, I took subway from my home.”

Well, with that conversation, I know Lisa would be late, and too late, because from her home to the restaurant, which will take 1 hour at least.

I was pissed off with that, but quickly I adjusted myself, since she is always late for a appointment, I know her this bad habit and am getting used of it. I think I can tell her the time of 0.5-1 hour earlier than the real one next time.

It is impolite you started to eat when other people had not arrived, but I was so hungry and had to wait for her 1 hour, I need to have some snacks anyway. It is stupid if you said you were dead in a restaurant because of hungry.

So I ordered a small congee with seafood.

After that, I called Lisa to ask where she was, “ I was walking over there, but I though I was lost.”
“Go to the East, turn right on the first red light, you could see an APPLE store on your left, went straight forward until you saw a logo of Uniqlo, the restaurant was behind it.”

When Lisa arrived, I had finished my congee. It is very delicious, I was going to bring someone back home for a breakfast tomorrow.

I was pissed off about that, but I calmed down quickly, since she is always late for an appointment, I know she has this bad habit and am getting used to it. I think I can tell her to meet an hour earlier than we’re actually supposed to meet next time.
