Today I watched a video that was made by CCTV, which is a very official media in China, it’s also present our government. They pointed out that many young people don’t like to be a scientist, writer, soldier and such as these roles but a star like singer, performer. They criticized that they were vanity, and worried about China’s future.

CCTV also raised a question that why a star can have high income, drive a fantasy car, live in a big house, even they did nothing to the country. But many scientists who made a huge contribution to the country only have low income, lived in a small place, and walked instead of driving. I felt they said that with angry.

In my opinion, what CCTV said is exaggeration. Maybe there are some persons like to be a star is pursuing rich and vanish life, getting attraction from others. However, we cannot say all people like that. And still many people want to be a scientist, doctor, etc.,

My question is who make them had lower income, live in a poor condition ? Do we? I don’t think so.

The government must take this responsibility to give more to encourage people to be these roles. If a scientist, a solider, whatever who make huge contribution to the country, she/he should deserve more, with more money, respective and care. To advertise them to us in broader and deeper. If they don’t tell us, we never know it.

The thing is reasonable only if it is existed. The star is highly concerned because they appeared in many medias, movies and entertainment shows with different way. Then we like them, admire or hate them. If the same thing happened on those great people. I believed the situation can be changed.

Today I watched a video that was made by CCTV, which is a very official media group / outlet / company in China, and which also presents our government. They pointed out that many young people don’t like to become scientists, writers, soldiers or other roles like these but instead, prefer to be singers, performers. They criticized the vanity, and worried about China’s future.

CCTV also questioned why a star is able to have high income, drive a fancy car, live in a big house, even though they did nothing for the country. Yet many scientists who have made a huge contribution to the country only have a low income, live in a small place, and walk instead of driving. I felt they said that with anger.

In my opinion, what CCTV said is an exaggeration. Maybe there are some people who want to be stars and are pursuing a rich and vanityfilled life, getting admiration from others. However, we cannot say that all people are like that. And still many people want to be scientists, doctors, etc.,

My question is who makes them have lower incomes, and live in poor conditions ? Do we? I don’t think so.

The government must take the responsibility to give more to encourage people to strive to do these jobs. If a scientist, a solider, or whoever makes a huge contribution to the country, then they deserve more. To get more money, respect and care. To advertise them to us in a broader and deeper way. If they don’t tell us / show us, we will never know.

The thing is reasonable only if it is existed (what do you mean?). Stars are highly admired because they appear in the media / all over the media, in movies and entertainment in so many different ways. So, we like them, admire them or hate them. If the same thing happens with / to those great people then I believe the situation will change.

A hard topic Catherine! You did will with your vocabulary but the grammar is a bit of a problem. Think about what time you’re talking about and plurals! If you mean people in general, just say people! If you mean stars in general, then just say stars.
