Meet uncle
This Sunday I will have dinner with my friends. The person I want to see most is a senior, who we call him uncle. It is the third time I meet him since the beginging of 2014./ It is the third time I meet him in three years.
He is very nice to me and have helpd me a lot.
I knew him in a phone virtual group where members communicate with each other in English. At that time my English was not good and uaually had many questions. He always help me solve questions. One day he asked us if we wanted to have dinner outside. Some members agreed with that. Later the restaurant address was decided/located, which the consumption per person is nearly 180. At that time I just earned very low salary. I said in the group:”maybe it is too expensive for me. I can not afford the price.”
“Don’t worry about the price, just join the party, you are my guest” He said.
A few days later, we met up in a restaurant. He was from Hong Kong originally, and now he is an Australian. he has a big sense of humor and we enjoyed the dinner time. In the end, we went Dutch. However, he paid a bill for me. “I said, you are my guest. you don’t need to pay.” I was so grateful. In fact, the price was not so expensive if we went Dutch. I could afford, but he did it for me.
In 2015, he showed me a grammar book and said it would be helpful to your grammar. I asked him where I could buy it.He said that he would buy it for me.
Just two weeks later, he said that he had bought the book in Hong Kong and would send me the book. When I asked him how much the book was, his answer was it is a gift for you, don’t worry about the price. I was grateful to him again.
In the end of 2015, I met him twice and this will be the third time. I thank him so much for helpingme a lot. i will be long forgetting the help he give me.

Meet uncle
This Sunday I will have dinner with my friends and the person I want to see most is a senior, who we call uncle. It is the third time I will have met him since the beginning of 2014./ It is the third time I will have met him in three years.
He is very nice to me and has helped me a lot.
I know him from a phone virtual group (you mean a chat room?) where members communicate with each other in English. At that time my English was not good and I usually had many questions. He always helped me to answer these questions. One day he asked us if we wanted to go out for dinner together. Some of the members of the group were interested and so later the restaurant address was decided on. The price per person was nearly 180RMB. At that time my salary wasn’t very high so I said in the group “maybe it is too expensive for me, I can’t afford that
“Don’t worry about the price, just join the party, you are my guest” He said.
A few days later, we met up at the restaurant. He was from Hong Kong originally, but now he is Australian. He has a great sense of humor which made the dinner even more enjoyable. In the end, we went Dutch but he still paid the bill for me. “I said, you are my guest. you don’t need to pay.” I was so grateful for his generosity. In fact, the price was not very expensive if we went Dutch and I could have afforded it, but he paid it for me anyway.
In 2015, he showed me a grammar book and said it would be helpful for my grammar. I asked him where I could buy it and He said that he would buy it for me.
Just two weeks later, he said that he had bought the book in Hong Kong and would send me the book. When I asked him how much the book was, his answer was “it is a gift for you, don’t worry about the price”. I was grateful to him yet again.
At the end of 2015, I met him twice and this will be the third time. I appreciate him so much for helping me as much as he did and will never forget the help he has given me.
