Depression:  it’s a mental illness, so in English we only use it in serious cases.

Ex:  I am feeling very depressed about this project/ lately/ because of this proposal.

To hit a wall:  to come to a stopping point, can’t get over the wall.

Ex:  We’ve hit a wall with this proposal.

Tide/ Sunlight/ Downey/ Omo

“No name brands”:  something that’s sold by a grocery store for a lower price, like a knock off of the brand names.

They will not so much care about price, but valueThey will not care about price, so much as value/ They care more about value than price. 

 

Tough mission

I’m annoyed by my present work. We are trying to give a workshop for Unilever to suggest them how to do mobile marketing in a right way. However we can’t figure out an overall idea of the proposal. We reviewed their campaigns of last year, and found that they spent most of budget on display ad to enhance brand awareness. We agree with the importance of awareness, but we think we should pay more attention on brand value nowadays. People are more caring about values than price. They will pay more money on high quality product with the same value as their. So we should improve and strength brand value and impact by leveraging mobile apps and interaction.
I hope we can find a way to express our method and make our client believe it.
