Speaking exercise

My name is Yannie.
Yannie has the same pronunciation as my Chinese name. / Yannie has a similar pronunciation to my Chinese name.
Last year I graduated from Wuhan uni.
I try to be a good officer in my company. -> I try to work hard in my company / I try to do my job well. / I try to be a good project manager

My major work is about IT. -> I mostly deal with IT things / I work mainly in IT

We try to do systems to help business people to work better or to support their daily work. / we make business solutions to help companies become more efficient and productive.  We mainly automate repetitive tasks for them.

My major in my Uni was electronic communications. My company is a foreign company so this is the major reason I came to improve my oral English/spoken English 
I am not afraid to speak but I may not concern about the grammar or structure… -> I may not pay enough attention to the grammar and structure.

My vocabulary is just college level and my listening if you speak not too fast or if you don’t have accent I will understand. / for my listening I can understand as long as/provided that you do not speak too fast or have an accent.
My writing skill is not very good because sometimes I can’t find the proper word to describe the system or my work so my emails are not very good. . / I am not satisfied with my emails.

I am still on my rotation as a management trainee in this company so I have to experience 4 parts in IT. / I have to move through 4 different department / domains. Maybe in July I will finally know what I will exactly do in the future. / In July I will have a better idea at what I’m good at / what the company feels I am suitable for.
Now I do lot about operations.
Systems may have bugs and I try to work with them and solve them to let the system run well. / I identify bugs and fix them / I troubleshoot bugs

Last week we held an event, a tech day to show our IT technology /IT expertise and we invited a lot of partners to visit our office.
As an IT member I should describe our systems to the visitors. / I had to introduce our systems to the guests
Daily work is more about email and PPTs.

Like to describe my feelings or activities it is not enough, I always try to think a lot about what I want to describe and convey to people.

I try to learn it this year (tennis) . I picked up tennis this year
I stay with my friend in my free time and we go out for some food and talk shows. We both like talk shows and it is fun.
On the week end we spend our time to search for some interesting places. / we discover many fun places..

SH is cleaner than Wuhan.
People are more relaxed / people have less pressure / the pace of life is slower.
In SH we always go to work and we are busy everyday but there they enjoy life more, happier, they feel more fulfilled.
They are more friendly to everyone, In SH people don’t have enough time to do this.Wuhan has lots of delicious food.

SH has lots of brands of coffee. / coffee brands.

Writing exercise

You send an email to your boss John with the meeting minutes from the meeting which happened yesterday with ABC company.
