I’m in a biotech company / I work in biotech

I find vendors

I am based in SH but support global activities.

I have a lot of meetings with global vendors.
My wife told me about this course. / recommended this course to me

Most meetings with my colleagues are through zoom.
We had a travel ban. / travel limitations

We need to have an intro about the vendor proposal and also learn something , different ideas from different departments.  -> We give and listen to their intro and after that we brainstorm ideas on how to cooperate together   / based on what they share we customize our offer to work with them.

The first thing is about the culture, cultural differences
I need to try to understand what is behind their saying -> what they really mean / the reason they react in a certain way 

I can understand what they say but I can cannot correctly present my feelings / I feel my words are not accurate enough / the words I use don’t exactly reflect what I want to convey.

Sometimes I want to reject their proposal but I don’t want to be rude. I want to do it with tact  / I want to softly reject their ideas.

I didn’t have too much sentence to say -> my vocabulary is too limited to handle a presentation / I don’t feel confident enough to do a presentation.

General emails are ok.

it is a similar product to google glasses. / it reminds me of the google glasees
Maybe one or 2 years ago I heard about this product.
my first imagination was to shoot a video -> my first thought was to shoot a video / I directly considered how to use them in a video production.
I think it is also a phone like the Iphone.  / I believe it also has a phone function.

we can help patients to live longer / extend the life of patients / extend their life expectancy
