I returned to the lesson because I just changed my job and I onboard next week to a  new company.

The new company is a multinational company and English is the working language. / we will all communicate in English.

I need to make communication with my foreign colleagues. / I need to discuss with my foreign colleagues / communicate with my foreign colleagues

I’m responsible for e-commerce. It includes marketing I need in charge of the performance and sales. -> I will be in charge of performance and sales.

It is Logitech, it produces mice and keyboards.

Every aspect because I can’t use fluent grammar in English and make many mistakes in Emails and I have to use English to presentation but I can’t use the oral English, it is not good at it. Both f2f and online. -> I’m worried about all aspects of my English, I know my grammar is lacking  / is not perfect and I have to use English to present  / to give presentations but I’m not good at oral English.

I can use ChatGPT to translate so I am not afraid of emails but I am really scared for the oral English and to make the presentation to my foreign colleagues.

I can’t present graphs accurately.

Usually I like walking with my family after dinner. I read a book for 1h and sometimes I play basketball with my son.
I like business management books and the biography of entrepreneurs.

In my opinion changing the name was not a good choice. Internet company don’t have a brand, their product is their brand.
If you want to change the name you change the experience of your product but it is hard to do.

Logitech in China faces a big challenge because Razer and other local brands have an aggressive strategy.
Online business has been growing fast in the last few years.

Logitech is a high end brand and the price is more expensive than others. / it is priced higher than other brands.
The Chinese economy faces challenges too and the consumers don’t want to accept expensive price so their market shares decreased from more than 70% to 40%. / consumers are reluctant to spend in this economy

One of the local brand get the n1 marketshare just within 6 months.
They just sell online and have 1 channel and got the n1 marketshare.

Logitech can’t produce all segments, they didn’t lay out on the low end market because they want the high margin. They have the bottom line of 47% margin.
If the China market wants to get the low end market we don’t have products to compete with them.

The B2B strategy is our strategy for this year, The CEO of China believes B2C market cannot grow account / has topped  / has already peaked.

My job is just responsible for the B2C market. -> I am only responsible for the B2C market.

I think they could focus on female. There are only a few colors in the past few years.
I can see local brands have many colors and some IP icons like Line friends. -> Local brands collaborate with popular IPs like line friends.
Especially in the Chinese market social media are more popular than in foreign countries.

Douyin has many KOLs verticals.
They can attract consumers. If we want to get more sales it means we need to get more consumers / reach more consumers.
If we can make more colors we can reach them on Douyin.
We can send samples to KOLs and cooperate with them to present the user experience in Douyin / we can reach out / get in touch with KOLs, send them a sample and ask for a video about it.  It will lead to a rise in our conversion rate in e-commerce channels.  / this will increase / boost our conversion rate in e-commerce channels.

The local brands has produced colorful keyboards and it is very popular in China.
They sell for just USD20 and it is very colorful.

A promising target is the 22-25 yo female segment.

The government stopped publishing the data on young people getting a job.

the camera segment is very important in/for Logitech
Most families needed to have online classes during the pandemic so they bought cameras / webcams.

China is the biggest gaming market in the world

The video collaboration segment is the second engine boosting our sales

Integrated cameras have some problems, it doesn’t show your face as it should be / the angle is not flattering for the face / it makes you look ugly.

In the past several years live streaming has become very popular and integrated webcams cannot fit their requirements.

The local brand sells for just USD20 and Logitech sells for USD50 minimum so consumers find it very expensive.
