Demo Class Notes (Kitty B – Jesse)

Kitty

– 8.5 years old, Nancy’s friend. Vocabulary seems quite limited, and can’t make many sentences yet. Is able to make very simple sentences, but confuses a lot of the grammar and vocabulary and needs a lot of time to think. Doesn’t know how to use conjunctions to add details and hasn’t learned any tenses. 

In class: Mr Bean speaking videos, reading of Kitty & Dragon and other simple books, daily life speaking and sentence building. At home: read books, write down words she doesn’t know, write a simple daily diary. After 3 months: start learning synonyms and building advanced sentences, use higher level books and do speaking & writing based on reading material.
