Fiona
– consulting but colleagues are Chinese, only writing in English before but now needs to write more and attend meetings with foreigners (English speakers), feels speaking is worse than writing, 6 years ago went abroad to UK so wrote a lot of reports, formal business writing, feels biggest problem in speaking is vocabulary, and grammar, needs to correct to chinglish.
Vocabulary is priority now, and grammar, then pronunciation later if needed.
Suggested course: topics are mostly business but some simple life, in class should be focused on correcting writing, upgrading vocabulary, learning formal vocabulary to replace casual words, homework should be writing to summarise videos or articles, focusing on new vocabulary usage which can be corrected and discussed in class.

before the corona virus like 2020 i went to many countries like singapore and europe for example roma, amsterdam, france, and i have been the UK for 4 years actually so i went to many place in the Uk and I also went to the america, NY, boston, Washington DC. For me i really remember the place where I studied.. portsmouth which is a small city which is located in the south of England. I still remember the city is so beautiful has beautiful buildings and the weather is quite similar like the Shanghai.. It’s not that difficult to adopt the weather there.

It’s not that difficult to adapt to the weather there.
