Vocabulary

pay attention to details/sth – to watch, listen to, or think about something carefully

ex. You should pay attention to what they are saying in the meeting.

contractor – a person or firm that takes on a contract to provide labour or do a job 承包商

construction workers – people that work on-site in a construction project 建工

collaborate – work together with sbd else

ex. Usually our firm will collaborate with foreign designers for each season.

coordinate – to negotiate with others in order to work together efficiently

ex. She needs to coordinate with different departments for this new project.

Grammar

subject – verb

(noun/pronoun) – verb

ex. I read.

subject – verb – object 

(noun/pronoun) – verb – (noun/pronoun)

ex. I have a cat.

ex. I give him a present.

ex. I give Jack a pencil.

I/you/he/she/it/we/they -subject pronouns 

me/you/him/her/it/us/them – object pronoun 

good – adjective (describe nouns)

well – adverb  (describe verbs)

ex. I speak English well.  (well describes speak)

ex. My English is good. (good describes English)

I’m Erin, I come from Taiwan and I work in Shanghai about 8 years. My career is interior design so  I need to coordinate with foreign design firm so I need to use English.
