Effie

– wants to study IELTS and go to Australia but feels her English is too poor. Thinks her speaking & writing are both really bad. May need to work on building sentences as a priority. 

After our class today I can see that grammar & vocabulary are the main things that need to be improved. Needs to work on building sentences using conjunctions and prepositions whilst focusing on tense and correct noun grammar.

In class: practice simple speaking about daily life, correct mistakes and learn to build simple sentences focusing on SVO, verb tense, noun logic. Correct written homework and discuss topic. At home: Write a diary about life and use vocabulary and grammar from class in writing, review class notes. After 3 months: start doing more advanced writing, longer sentences using more advanced conjunctions and connectives, learn some synonyms for common words, and do more advanced reading once vocabulary is enough for daily communication.

My listening,my speaking and my writing of English are not good.I usually get up at 6:30am in the morning who go to work at 8:00am.It is 8 hours a day.I am a software engineer.I like pop.That’s all.thanks.

I get up at half past 7. Then, I wash face. I brush my teeth. I have breakfast at 8 o’clock. Then, I go to work by bus.

I get up at half past 7 because I need to start work at 9AM. Then, I wash my face and brush my teeth for 15 minutes in the bathroom. I have breakfast at 8 o’clock which is very good / delicious / tasty. Then, I go to work by bus which is boring.
