Client works in the hospitality and tourism industry and just moved to Shanghai last week with her boyfriend who is fluent in both Chinese and English. Client is currently not working so plans to spend 2-3 hours per day to study English. Client needs help in expanding her word bank and in using different types of sentence structures. Client’s listening skills are better than her speaking skills and doesn’t feel too confident in speaking English. Client likes watching Modern Family and could start speaking in English with her boyfriend. Focus on daily conversations and encourage client to avoid using Chinese in class.
