If you could give advice to younger people, what would be some of the things you’ll tell them?

Vocabulary

give birth – have children

cosmetics – beauty products

window shopping – shopping without a specific purpose, just having a look

ex. Many girls love window shopping, however I’m not one of them.

dresses – one piece outfit for women

stationery – like pens, pencils etc.

clothes – all clothing

charity – non-profit organisation

excellent/good value for money – 性价比高

Doing nothing, just lie on the bed.

Not doing anything, just lie on the bed.

When I was a student I could stay at home for the whole month.

If you don’t have kids you can spend all your money for yourself. Now you have to at least half for them.

If you don’t have kids you can spend all your money on yourself. Now you have to spend half your salary on them.

I’m somebody who will not buy lots of things for/spend unnecessarily on kids. But now, in my situation, I have no chance to buy whatever I want.
