Grammar

when making a list: a, b, and c/a, b etc./ a, b and so on. 

if you have only 2 items you must include “and” before the last item

parent(s) – plural count

parent/s: only one (either father or mother)

I like eat some fruits. I like salad light food. I like some soup and some tea restaurant food. I usually order food on weekdays. Sometimes I cook on weekends. I don’t like cooking food. I think it’s difficult for me. Sometimes I order some light food, for example, noodles, vegetables and so on. I think I can eat everything by myself except hotpot. I like light hot pot, for example, CS hotpot. I like eat hotpot with my friends because my parents like spicy food. I don’t like spicy food. Since I came to SH, I didn’t like spicy food. I like salty food because I don’t like sweet food and spicy food because I think sweet food is very strange. In SH, many dishes are sweet. I eat spicy hotpot, I think spicy food taste delicious most of the time. I can’t eat spicy food and sweet food because I have pimples.

When I was young I lived with my grandma, because my parents were busy on weekdays. They were so busy that they always forget about some special days, for example, Children’s Day, my birthday etc./and so on. Therefore, I thought they were careless parents and I always talked back to my parents. When I grew up, I gradually realized that being a parent is not easy. In fact, my parents took care of me a lot. They helped me as much as they could. Although I am an adult, they are still worried about my health, my work and so on. They start to learn about the internet in order to get a glimpse of young people’s lives/interests. They learnt how to chat online, shop online, and they always shared some interesting news with me that they found on the internet. Now I think my parents are great and I love them.
