“should would will can maybe could…” = no tense, use simple original form of verb
“ing” vs “ed”
– adj with “ing” are about the subject itself; ie. Lily is super annoying (makes other annoyed.)
– adj with “ed” are the emotions the subject feels. ie. Lily is annoyed (something else made Lily feel annoyed.)
ie. I’m tired from work. Work is tiring.
“going for” – trying to do
ie. Were you going for the “vintage look?”
how’s … coming?
ie. How’s your work coming? – How is it? Are you successful?
