Vocabulary

period= 大姨妈/ 。
ex: I got my period today so I can’t drink cold coffee.
ex: I used to worry a lot when my period delays.

supply– demand
ex: when there’s more demand than supply, the merchandise will be more expensive.

scarecrow= 稻草人
ex: There’s always a scarecrow in horror movies. 恐怖片😱

on strike= 罢工
ex: when the teachers were on strike, we didn’t need to go to school.
ex: when the bus drivers go on strike, schools will close and parents will stay home with the kids.

content= 内容
ex: I didn’t like the content, can you modify it?

in advance= 提前
ex: can you remind me two days in advance before my trip?
ex: It’s a fancy restaurant, you need to book the tables one month in advance. 

modify= change
ex: can you modify the powerpoint a little?
ex: I need to modify the contract before I give you final copy.

draft= 草稿
ex: I’m working on my draft, I”ll give you the final copy next week.

On weekend, I went to three exhibitions, one is Tiffany show, it’s very beautiful, amazing and creative. I think the show is better than Chanel I have seen. In Tiffany show, it shows many jewelries in stories. For example, a ring put in the buildings and many scenarios, and put into the rhino. It’s very interesting and creative, so I like it. I can’t book the Tiffany afternoon tea, maybe book it half month before. In America, I can book the Tiffany breakfast. When I back to Shanghai, lots of guests been to the exhibition.

Yesterday I went to my company’s exhibition in MixCity. The exhibition is about fairy, Wizard of the Oz. This exhibition is for the cosplay girls, they like this. Not so many contents, just for take pictures.

Last weekend, I went to three exhibitions, one of them was the Tiffany show, it was very beautiful, amazing and creative. I think the show was better than the Chanel one. In the Tiffany show, it showed many jewelries with different stories.. For example, different rings would be put in different buildings and many scenarios, one ring was even put on the rhinos.
