What do you think we should do about the plastic problem? Do you think plastic is dangerous for us if we eat it? What could we use instead of plastic in the future?

it talks about plastic pollution and at the beginning it told us a story: long long ago there was a king that wished that everything he touched will turn to gold (Midas) and he found it’s very fun but then he found out he couldn’t eat anything because any food he ate would turn to gold. So after that the video expressed that we are actually doing the same thing that we turn everything into plastic. One third of the waste in America was plastic and 10% of it has been recycled, 5% of it has been burned. As of 2016, we have made 200 million tons of plastic. When you make a plastic bag, you just need to use a tiny amount of energy but when you make a cotton bag you need to use it 7100 times to make up for the amount of energy spent on making it.
