Take a look at this very extensive list of manufacturing terms and try to write some sentences. Next time we will continue with some vocabulary that will be useful if you have to talk with factory managers:

Vocabulary
Print – the usual way of seeing letters on computer, for example; the first way you learn to write
Cursive – when you write all the letters in a connected way
Calligraphy – when you write words in a way so that it looks like art, how to write beautifully 书法
Etymology – the history of a word and also the pieces that make up different words
Dedicate – to do something specific for someone or their memory; to put aside some resource for a specific purpose
e.g. This new building was dedicated to a famous doctor (it was named “the Doctor X Memorial Building” to show that we want to remember this person for what they did)
e.g. We will dedicate one million dollars more this year to research and development of new drugs.
Repeat, Three-peat – when the Chicago Bulls won three championships, and then three more championships
e.g. During the Jordan years, the Bulls won six championships, three, a few years in the middle, and then three more.
Peak – the highest point of a mountain, or of something like a career
e.g. Jordan’s career in sports peaked in the 1990’s.
Dynamic – something that changes a lot, or that can change a lot
Static – something that doesn’t change, stable
Factory overhead – the costs required to run a factory, but which are not specific to any part of the process of making something
e.g. Lighting, heating, electricity generally, rent for the building
Certain cost – a specific type of cost, but not a specific amount
Let your actions speak for themselves – be humble, don’t brag; let other people see what you can do rather hearing about how great you are.
Seeing is believing – you can’t doubt what you see with your eyes
