Grammar
There not so many job/work to do.
Correction- Recently I don’t have a lot of work to do/ Recently I haven’t been busy at work.
Recently, it has been quiet at work. (Not about the sound, but about how busy it is.)
I have many jobs to do at work.
If you are talking about your feeling about work- then we don’t normally say ‘I don’t have many jobs at work’.
when doing activities, we add ‘a’.
e.g. I’m going for a run, I’m going for a walk, I’m going for a skate, I’m going for a swim.
I’m going (no for) verb +ing.
Time prepositions. The weekend- On the weekend/ At the weekend. In time (minutes/hours).
we go on vacation/abroad/holiday/on a trip. Different ways to talk about going on holiday.
I went- we use this for specific time last spring. We say ‘have been’ when the time (when you went) is not important.
Speaking exercise
My husband and go out for walk on weekend. We can walk for 2 or 3 hrs. It can help me forget my stress but we also can talk about job and share our experience and find some solution about tough problem, that makes me feel better. Every summer the children go back to their grandparents home. Usually we go out for small trip. Last winter holiday I went to singapore for 5 days. I think Singapore is very safe place to travel and there is great downtown view. I went to Cambodia two times. I love the buildings which have a history and I learn many history knowledge.
