Vocabulary
exotic – something very different from the normal things
Take home work – work from your job that comes home with you
eg. I have take home work to finish tomorrow.
Mental distress/emotionally distraught – suffering extreme emotions from an experience
eg. He suffered from a lot of mental distress after seeing his neighbor suffocate on a peach.
Suffocate – having no air
eg. He has something in his throat and he’s suffocating.
Trauma – a scary experience or physical injury.
eg. The man was experience mental distress after going through a traumatic experience.
Laceration – a very deep cut (requires stitches)
Congestion – a thin/narrow passage blocked by something (nose/traffic) (stops the flow of something)
eg. I have a bad cold and my nose is very congested.
eg. There is a lot of traffic today and the highway is very congested.
eg. There is a lot of congestion on the road.
eg. LA has the worst traffic congestion in America
eradicate – to completely remove/destroy/get rid of
eg. I want to eradicate all the bugs in my house.
exterminate – to completely remove/destroy/get rid of
Exterminator – person whose job it is to kill bugs/insects/mice
