I have been to Xiamen four times   (go to a place)

musician – a person who plays music

eg: My name is Prince, like the musician. Also princes protect the princess, so I want to be brave, like a prince.

nervous – jin zhang

eg: Why are you so nervous?

eg: Sorry, I’m a little nervous.

Chinglish – Chinese English

eg: I shouldn’t speak Chinglish sentences.

simple – not complicated

eg: Speaking English is not simple.

How many times have you come here?

I have come here four times.

Have you got….?   (Common in UK)   Have you got a girlfriend?

Do you have….?    (Common in USA)   Do you have a girlfriend?

No, I don’t have a girlfriend.

English Logic Vs. Chinese Logic:

wo bu neng hen hao de he ni jiao liu

I Not possible very good and you communication.   (Chinese Logic)

It’s not possible for me to have good communication with you.   (English Logic)

It’s hard for me to speak English with you.   (Good english logic, Simple)

Jiu Shi nan wo shuo yingyu gen ni.   (English logic), (Chinese logic is very bad for this sentence)
