Vocabulary
Raid (n): 1-Â a sudden invasion by officers of the law, usually looking for something specific.
E.g.:Â The police discovered lots of drugs during the raid.
Inspection (n): 1-Â careful examination or scrutiny. 2- a checking or testing of an individual or organization against established standards
E.g.:Â The inspection revealed a lot of problems in the factory.
Conduct (v): 1- to direct an action or course; manage. 2- to lead or guide.
E.g.:Â He conducted us through his collection of art.
Carry out (v): 1-Â to put something into action.
E.g.:Â The team carried out the plan with excellence.
Rumor (n): 1-Â a story that people are talking about, but no one is sure if it’s true.
E.g.: There’s a rumor that someone will be fired soon circulating around the office
Pleasure (n): 1-Â a feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment.
E.g.: She smile with pleasure after receiving the compliment.
Subtitle (n): 1-Â captions displayed at the bottom of a cinema or television screen that translate or transcribe the dialogue or narrative.
E.g.:Â Watching movies with English subtitles is a good way to practice reading and listening at the same time.
Aware (adj): 1-Â having knowledge or perception of a situation or fact.
E.g.:Â Most people are aware of the dangers of Global Warming.
