Vocabulary

Immigrant (n): 1- a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.
E.g.: There are immigrants from many different parts of the world living in New York City.

Drug (n): 1- a medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body. 2- something and often an illegal substance that causes addiction, habituation, or a marked change in consciousness.
E.g.: Studies have shown that alcohol and many other legal drugs are often more harmful than marijuana.

Subscribe (n): 1- to pay money to get a publication or service regularly
E.g.: 
You’ll receive a user name and password when you subscribe.

Extended Family (n): 1- a family that includes not only parents and children but also other relatives (such as grandparents, aunts, or uncles)
E.g.: 
I have a really large extended family, so reunions are always fun!

Nuclear Family (n): 1- the part of a family that includes only the father, mother, and children
E.g.: The invitation includes you and your nuclear family.
