Smooth (adj): 1- having a flat, even surface : not rough.
E.g.: She has a very smooth and beautiful skin.
Fabric (n): 1- woven or knitted material, used to make clothes.
E.g.: Velvet is a smoother than other kinds of fabric, such as denim or cotton.
Velvet (n): 1- a closely woven fabric of silk, cotton, or nylon, that has a thick short pile on one side. 2- 丝绒.
E.g.: She wore a pair of jeans and a black velvet coat.
Sew (v): 1- to make or repair something (such as a piece of clothing) by using a needle and thread. 2- make or repair clothes using a sewing machine.
E.g.: After lunch I had a sewing class.
Sewing Machine (n): 1- a machine that is used for sewing things. 2- 缝纫机.
E.g.: I made this dress using a sewing machine.
Short (adj): 1- not long..
E.g.: Is my skirt too short?
Shorts (n): 1 short pants..
E.g.: I am wearing short shorts.
Q: What time did your class start?
A: It started at 10 o’clock.
Q: How was your day?
A: It was _______.
E.g.: good, great, boring, not so bad, not so good, busy, etc.
