Grammar

SVO Subject主语 + Verb动词/谓语 + Object宾语

be verb -> is am are (也是动词）

PRESENT 现在

present simple – 一般现在时
S + be/do + O
i.e. I am a teacher.
i.e. I like chocolate.
state a general fact or talk about a behaviour that happens often 阐述事实或者一个经常发生的行为或事件

present continuous – 现在进行时
S + be doing + O
i.e. She is eating chocolate.
emphasise the action right now 强调现在正在发生的事情或者动作

PAST 过去

past simple – 一般过去时
S + was/were/did + O
i.e. She was an actor.
i.e. She ate ice cream.
state a fact about the past or an action in the past 阐述过去的事实或者动作

past continuous – 过去进行时
S + was/were doing + O
i.e. I was drawing a picture.
emphasise an action during a certain time in the past 强调过去某个时间正在发生的动作

FUTURE 将来

future simple – 一般将来时
S + will be / will do + O
i.e. I will be a teacher.
i.e. I will go to school.
state a fact and action in the future 阐述将来要发生的事实或者动作

future continuous – 将来进行时
S + will be doing + O
i.e. I will be eating dinner.
i.e. You will be sleeping tonight.
emphasise an action that will be happening at a time in the future 强调将来某个时间会正在发生的事情或动作
