VIP Class Notes (Matt)

Write about what you like to eat and what you don’t like to eat. Use words describing them like with colors, size (big or small), and taste.

Vocabulary

Used pictures of food to identify and describe them.

Fruits: Strawberries (red), grapes (purple or green), bananas (yellow, sometimes black), Orange, Blueberries (blue and purple), Pineapples (orange and yellow)

Sweets: Chocolates, Mashmallows, Cupcakes, Biscuits, Birthday cakes.

Animals: Dogs, Cats, Birds (eagles, parrots), Fish.

Comprehension:

King- old man with crown

Queen- old woman with crown

Prince- young boy with crown

Princess- Young girl with crown

Castle- where the King, Queen, Prince and Princess Lives

Contrasted different kinds of foods

Cookie- Biscuit with chocolate

Biscuit- No chocolate

Grammar

I like eat cupcake—I like to eat cupcakes

I like eat marshmallows—I like to eat marshmallows

Speaking:

-She pronounced Bow, as in bowtie or hairpin, as Bao.

We had exercises differentiating “bow” and “bowl”

-She Pronounced Crown as Croon.

-Discussed what games she liked to play (Basketball and Dolls)
