Dear Steve,

I am Zoe from Class 3 and I have some difficulty to learn English, hope you can help me get through them.

I have been learning English since I was in primary school. Even though, I feel my oral English is still not good enough, both speaking and reading. Once I start to speak English, I always feel very nervous.

Do you have any advice that can help me to build my confidence? That would be really lovely.

I feel that my English is still not good enough, but I would like to improve my speech (oral/speaking) and reading. I believe that my writing is better than my speaking skills.

Vocabulary

Condensation – (when its too humid and water will appear on any surface)

Making an effort – the process/things you do to achieve your goal

Swollen – 肿

Joss Stick – 香

Xenophobia – 种族差距 (fear of the unknown)

Prejudice – 偏见

Paranoid – 妄想症

Suspicious – 怀疑
