norm [n] 规范 
something that happens normally

example: When you sit in a car, you exit from the right-hand side. We use chopsticks when eating. Squat. Staying to the right on escalators. Drink hot water only.

It is the norm to get married early, especially for young people who live in second or third-tier cities.
It is Chinese culture to carry on the family name by having children and grandchildren.

Rules & Laws: Not crossing when there is a red light (jaywalking), no stealing, no kidnapping.
