I went to Chengdu last year. Before I went there, I had traveled many cities in China such as Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. And this time, the experience in Chengdu was very special for me.

On the first day, I arrived in Chengdu. I was astonished by the well-done infrastructures. Public transportation was well-equipped and convenient. The underground railway station was equipped in the airport. You could take the subway to the anywhere the pf the main places in Chengdu. Also several ways of transporting are also available in the airport like taking a bus, renting a car to drive or taking a taxi.

Next day, I went to Chengdu Panda base, which was a research base of Giant Panda breeding and generating. The place was divided into several areas. And each area had different functions. For example, some areas were for feeding and they were opened for visitors. However, some areas were only for staff of the research base. When I went to the feeding areas, everyone was given a label with a number that day. When the feeding show started, the show presenter said the person with the special number, that they drew from the box, they drew from the box would later have a chance to feed the panda in person. And guess what, I was the one who had the chance to get close to panda.

The panda was bigger and fatter than I imagined. And its legs were very powerful. I expected that pandas were tame and soft. However, they were vigilant and nervous when they saw strangers getting close to them. And their fur was very rough. Anyway, this was my first time hugging and touching such precious animal. I felt very lucky.

On the last day in Chengdu, I went to one of the celebrated streets. I ate some famous food and had a very nice meal. One of dishes, which left me an amazing impression, was called frozen rice noodles. It was similar to a kind of jelly and mixed with some nuts. You could also choose ingredients to put in this dish as you like. It tasted like jelly you bought in the supermarket, but more smooth and fresh in your mouth.

Well, I had been to Chengdu for three times. However, each time I went there, I would feel different in this city. It always gave me some surprise. I desire to live in that city after I graduate.
