The A few days I chose choose to watch was a series of sociopolitical documentary, How’d You Get So Rich?(UK). In Each episode, the host Katherine was visiting rich people to get to know how they were /became were be rich.

The first rich people were a couple who/that to run a market and retail industry. At first, they only had have 1000 pounds, but years later they became to billionaires. They were the founder of for pound shops in the UK. In the beginning, people around surrounded them thought they would be fail, but now we see pound shops all around the world.

The second guy was the Britain’s flashiest playboy in Britain. He owns many hotels in central London. But in the beginning, he just wanted to support himself, because he was a pop music player. With the money, he can invest some music works and his favorite activities.

The third rich man was a the richest cosmetic surgeon in the USA, who’s performed surgery on numerous stars. He looked like a 50 years old
but actually he was 70 years old, because he did some small surgeries surgeon to keep his face young same. With the money high pay from each patient, he bought a big manor to spend his own life, and keep his job now.

The fourth rich man owns a sports car business. Some famous people could customize their dream car there. The rich man told the host that he didn’t operate his car business in the beginning, when he saved up some money, he shifted focus to his favorite industry. At first, he was an egg seller, and his family were poor.

The purpose The thing that attracted me to watch is that the show breaks some popular opinions. In most of cultures, the impression of rich men impression will be a treacherous and cunning person. Actually, every rich man in this show was became rich through their hard work themselves and work hard.

But why what do popular opinions thoughts give us the wrong values? In my opinion, it might originate from different cultural background produce by some background. In the past, most people will do the same jobs and the only way to get the reward award is defeating your opponent. In the context setting, someone will win by dirty means. But in reality, the rich men were rich just because their thought is different from others ones. By In the TV shows, we can see some reality, it could help us to know what how we can do and be what type of person we want to be.
