Learning English is the most urgent thing for me now. Recently I discussed with many friends about “How do you learn English?” And I got a lot of answers, such as “Do more exercises.”, “Watching English movies or English tv shows.”, even “find a foreign boyfriend.” I think maybe watching a English movie is the best way for me. If I find a movie or tv show that I really insterested in it , I can watch it again and again. I can watch it by Chinese subtitles on first time, then on second time, I should contrast Chinese and English. I am sure I must do this way many times, or I can’t really remember it. Finally, I can try watch it just by English subtitles.
Another useful way for improving English that is give myself a long vacation in a foreign country. Also I must communicate with others on my own. I should change money if I only have bills , go to a reataurant and order, and do everything by myself. I must keep talking with others until I really understand instead of just know roughly.
If I have a chance to go abroad for a long time, I hope I can find something which I like to do it. I am a designer, so go to more museum or gallery are the best, although I can’t appreciate all the artistic work, sometime I thing it is a mystery. But that is my hobby, I will be careful. Like watching English movies, only I like it, I can watch it seriously and learn it. And I never attand a auction, I used to have fantasies about I am super rich and pay the highest price on an auction. That is so cool.
