Vocabulary

my theory is that all animals have their own language.

[ there is no phone signal / there is no service ]

language – a body of words and the systems for their use common to a people who are of the same community or nation, the same geographical area, or the same cultural tradition

eg: Some animals probably have language. But for sure they can all communicate.

eg: Some monkey can be taught to use Sign Language, so they can speak with their hands.

whale – the biggest living animal on Earth.

eg: Some people really love whales. So they get angry that some Japanese people still eat them.

eg: The new sales team is really great. They’ve already caught a few whales. Usually it takes a while to get some really big clients.

Motto – a thing someone or a group often says

eg: Many groups for kids to learn skills have the same motto. That is, “Be prepared”.

saying – something people often say, and they think its probably true

eg: A common saying in Texas is, “Everything is bigger in Texas”

eg: It is a saying in Texas(N)  state that, “Everything is bigger in Texas”

apply to – fill out some paperwork to join a group, like a company or University

eg: How many schools did you apply to?

I applied to 6 schools. And I got into 4 of them.
