Vocabulary

what does that mean?


activity – something that you do, or create, usually for fun.

eg: We didn’t do a lot of activities at my school. It was really serious and only had lots of homework.

eg: We do a lot of activities on in sports class p.e.

native – coming from that land, originally

eg: I’m a native English speaker. Because English the language of USA. But I’m not a native American. Because most white people were native to Europe.

Cherokee (native american Tribe) – a small group of people without developed cities or technology

eg: Are there still tribes in the world today?

Maybe, but I think there aren’t any tribes in the world today.

syllable -each sound in a word

eg: There are four syllables in the word “congratulate. ”

Gold / Silver / Bronze  (medal) – the award and small thing you wear around your neck, when you win a competition.

eg: He did well, but not the best. So he got a silver medal.

eg:They gave him a silver medal.

publish (V)  – to release or put out an article, or make something public, so everyone can see it.

eg: He published his writing, but nobody bought the book.

what interchange means? – What does interchange mean?

Interchange means to change between two or more things.

no, I don’t think it’s that one.

Maybe it’s New Concept.

Yeah, it is. It’s New Concept English.

I had a very long time to not see a movie. – [ I haven’t seen a movie in a long time. / It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a movie. ]

When was the last time you saw a movie?

I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie. Because it’s very long time ago.
