Vocabulary
translate – change a word from one language to another
eg: Translation is never perfect. For example some words you have in Chinese and we don’t have in English.
interpret (V) – to understand something, in your way interpretation (n)
eg: He told me he was busy. I interpreted that as him saying he doesn’t wanna see me.
eg: That was my interpretation of the story.
Alcohol – a natural substance, found in many drinks. Beer has about 5% alcohol. Where Liquor can have 20-50% Alcohol.
eg: Some Chinese translations call Bai Jiu, “White wine.” Which just sounds crazy, of course it is not wine. It’s not even made with grapes.
Liquor – Strong alcohol. Vodka, Whiskey, Baijiu, Rum, Gin…
eg: BaiJiu is clear Chinese liquor.
Wine – alcohol made from grapes (Pu tao)
eg: A lot of wine is red, because most grapes are red or purple. White wine comes from green grapes.

My favorite things is a rug at home. I bought it in IKEA where sell furniture looks so simple but it always practical. The rug’s color is white. I like white, because I think white things usually good and lasting. And it feels very soft I put it on my sofa. And another favorite things is a pillow that looks like a cloud, it is pretty cute. Also there are some essential oil in it, so it smells sweet.
