How to inform people: give them info

1. Make a basic sentence:

eg: Dodgeball was really fun today. (you want to explain DODGEBALL)

2. Introduce the new word:

eg: We played a game called …. (Dodgeball)   (Give the name)

3. What you think about it:

eg: We played a game called Dodgeball today, it was really fun.

4. Stop, in the middle of your sentence, to explain what it is. Keep your sentence the same, and put the explanation after a Comma,

eg: We played a game called Dodgeball, where you pick up and throw red balls at the other team, and if you get hit by a ball, then you’re out. It was really fun today.

eg: We played Dodgeball, a game where you try to hit someone with a big red ball, it was really fun.

We played dodgeball      , (EXPLAIN) ,  it was really fun.

Was (it) worth it?

eg: Was the tour worth it? Or you wish you didn’t take it?

eg: Yes, the tour was worth it.

eg: I drove to Qingdao from Beijing because I thought it would be a scenic drive. But     it wasn’t worth it, because we just saw the same tree for 8 hours.

one way – flying or traveling only to one place

round trip – flying or traveling to a place then back to your original place.

eg: A round trip ticket would be about 4000 yuan during Chinese new tear.

hazel – a brownish green, often used to describe eye color

hazelnut – a nut, often used with sweets, like chocolate, and is the main ingredient in Nutella.

eg: They are a group of people who led the Qing dynasty.
