I work in the baking industry as a purchaser. Our company is a Japanese company. I joined it when it was established 15 years ago. So I have been worked in this company more than 15 years. Actually, this is my first job after I graduated from my university and also this is the only job in my job career. This is a amazing thing when I realize how long I stay in this company.

When I joined it, it was only a small company and it had several staff. So I do a lot of things and now the different departments person is in charge of them.

Now I work as a purchaser in my company. I need to find some new material for our new products. If the supplier is a new company, I need to have a contract with it and check the details in the contract. Especially I focus on how to order and whether it has the minimum quantity or not.

Everyday our shop’s staff send orders to our office. And then my colleague will send orders to our suppliers. To deal with delayed orders or wrong orders is also my job. We have to make sure that our shops have enough material to use.

I focus especially on orders / communication with our partners / making orders to our partners / sending orders to our partners / and I make sure it matches their minimum quantity  / I choose different partners depending on the quantity we order
