5.Reputation. Is personal or company reputation important to you and why? Would you protect the reputation at all cost and why? Take a real example to check this.

This class I’d like to talk about the questions below
1.If your function leaders requested you to perform work that you feel don’t comply with the relevant compliance standards or regulations, what you responds and what’s reason.

Actually I always do my work according to the compliance standards because the accounting work doesn’t accepted any errors so if my business leader let me do something which is not complying with the compliance standard I can explain to him and told him it is not legal and will cause great influence for our company.

I always do my work according to the compliance standards because accounting doesn’t accept/allow any errors so if my business leader asked me to do something which does not comply with the standards I would explain to him and tell him it is not legal and could be very dangerous for our company.
(I would not under any circumstances allow wrong reporting.)

2.Have you encountered such situation previously and how’s your normal response?

In my previously work it occurred that my boss give me some invoice to claim expenses but the invoice has big problems but she request me to pay him the money. I don’t remember how to deal with this thing. Because the reason she claimed expenses has nothing to do with our company’s business. He just get some invoice and wants me to pay her.
It is her own expenses and doesn’t have any relationship with my company.

In my previous job/position it occurred that my boss gave me some invoices to claim expenses but the invoices were not related to our business. They were invoices from her personal consumption and I refused.

3.Your compliance standards and how to use it. If your company compliance standards is higher than the country regulatory standards, which standards would you follow?Conversely, what would you compliance with? Please provide an explanation of the response.

I would follow the company’s standard but not object to the country’s standard.  I need to ensure my reporting is useful both for the company and the country.
if they conflict I would follow the company’s standard for all internal documents and produce another version following the country’s standard for government reporting.

Integrity is very important, both in my personal and my professional life. If my work is integrity it is benefit for the development of myself and our company’s development.
