I’m 40 yo, now I am an English teacher, I teach little kids phonics and also grammar. the age range between my students of kindergarten to middle school students. Now I am preparing TOEFL coz I wanna try to attempt to go abroad to get a master degree in ESL teaching . Just attempt if I fail this year I won’t try again but nevertheless it is a good opportunity to improve my English. I have been here for half a year. mainly focused on TOEFL preparation, listening and speaking, There are 4 sectors in TOEFL exam. the weakest part to me are speaking and writing.

The uni that I have interest in are all require a score more than 105, so if I got only 100 basically I have no opportunity to go to the Uni in my target list.

In both exams I failed to complete the reading, I got some time issues in reading.

Opinion on various topics:

Same sex marriage:
I am student B, I am for same sex marriage law. The first and most important reason is gay people are people, they should have every rights given by the law in our country. Marriage is a right for all the people so gay people of course should have the right to get married. I know some people are against same sex marriage but if we don’t give the right to gay people we don’t recognize gay people as humans. It is a sexual tendency it is not a crime, it is not a disease so I see no reason against gay people get married.

I agree with /side with B, I am for/I am in favor of a/the same sex marriage law. The first and most important reason is gay people are people (too/like any of us), they should have every rights given by the law in our country. Marriage is a right for everyone so gay people should have it too. I know some people are against same sex marriage because they think it is not natural. but if we don’t give this right to gay people we don’t recognize them as humans. It is a sexual preference it is not a crime, it is not a disease so I see no reason against gay people getting married.

Creation of the universe:

I agree with student A, I believe science is the only way that humans can explain the universe although there is obviously a limitation. First we people designed and elaborate the whole system of science. every brick on the wall of science is solid, is testified. The second is the wall of science is higher and higher as we put bricks onto it. Though we don’t see where our final is but what we can do is only to work harder and build the wall higher. I don’t agree that religion can explain the religion is there is no evidence of the religious theory and we can only imagine if we have no sincere and use religion we are in the ancient time we have no TV, rocket, we don’t know the earth is a globe. That is why I side with science.

I agree with student A, I believe science is the only way that humans can explain the universe although there is obviously a limitation. First we people design and elaborate the whole system of science. every brick on the wall of science is solid, is proven. Secondly, the wall of science is higher and higher as we put bricks onto it/as we add bricks to it. Though we don’t see where it ends / the finish line is. We can only work harder and build  a higher wall. I don’t agree that religion can explain the universe because there is no evidence supporting/backing the religious theory. Just imagine, if we relied on religion only and not on science we would still be (living) in the ancient time we would have no TV, rocket, we wouldn’t  know the earth is a globe. That is why I side with science.
