I have received a letter from Georgia tech. the program they said the result might come out in mid may.
after I submit the application I check some discuss groups, someone put their criteria on the internet and I compare them to me. I find it is very difficult to received by this program. They have higher GPA than me and long related working experience than me.
When I searched the keyword of vpn in the current App Store I can’t find the result, so if I can search in another location App Store it might work.
I subscribed for the whole year / I took a 1 year plan
I think the gvt wants to control what we are thinking but I want to know more about the world no matter its good or bad, I want to get enough info and make my decision. This is good or not. But if the gvt control the gate instead of you I feel lack of freedom.
The gvt set a restrict that the data collect in China can’t go abroad. so for exemple we have some customer data in our compamy and we want to rent a high quality server to store this info but we can’t find the server vendor in China so we can only find some vendors in HK or Macao and we set a kind of VPN between HK and china. That is kind of a way to jump the wall.
I heard a company like Microsoft they set their company’s vpn server in SGP but recently Chinese GVT has this meeting and some function of their inner system were blocked because of the ports being restricted.

Grammar
1. First conditional:
Either talking about the present or the future. Likely to come true.
If I have enough money, I will go to Japan.
If I have enough time I will check the document again.
2. Second conditional:
The tense used on the verb is the past tense but you are talking about the present: right now.
If I had enough money, I would go to Japan.
if my VPN was working I would go on reddit right now.
3. Third conditional:
The tense is the past perfect and you are talking about the past.
Probably is 0/ you can’t change the past so it is impossible.
If I had had enough money, I would have gone to Japan.
If I hadn’t joined Wuhan University, I would not have taken my current job.
If I had had a lot of money 20 years ago, I would have bought several houses in Shanghai.
If my English had been good enough I would have written a better statement of purpose.
Mix second/third conditional:
You talk about a condition in the past and a result in the present.
If I had had dinner, I wouldn’t be hungry right now.
If I hadn’t taken responsibility of QA project I would not be so confused/ I wouldn’t be confused like this.
