I think it doesn’t work in China because for Chinese traditional. Usually it is women to do the housework and most of the men are lazy so if they see the commercial I think they are not so interested to do the housework. So especially after they have married.
Before you get married you want to attract the girl and after they get married they become lazy.

Then this man also asks the woman to save the ice caps and the woman planted a sign and the ice caps split open and she fell. And then the man told her that it is not safe to do all those things and it is safe to drive this brand of car.

I think it is working in China because especially  in Shanghai . Because first the people are more focused on improving the environment so if this car can reduce your footprint and second thing is the car plate in Shanghai is really expensive and if you buy a hybrid car you can get a plate free.
