Because this year the spring festival is quite late.
The Chinese is always around the end of January and this year the festival is very special because of very late.

This year it is February 12 so our usual perspective is waiting the spring coming after the new year’s holiday but this year I feel a lot of people feel a little bit annoyed because we have to wait about 40 days.
People always want to summarize the old projects and it is hard for them to start a new project.
But because of the so late spring festival companies have to start the new projects of 2021 and as usual people always start to plan the arrangements of Chinese festival. Plan to trip or go go back but it is hard to plan in advance because of local cases.
Companies suggest people did not to move around.

the suggestion of schools for students is do not travel to another city unless you have an emergency but even if you have any emergency you have to get the permission or you have to let the school know you trip plan in advance.
The problem is before the new semester you have to stay in the local city at least 14 days and get the test result.
I heard some universities already suggest their students do not go back to hometown. They will offer some events or some special support for the spring festival.

It will be ok for teenagers because lots of them have the experience of staying alone or with friends during the spring festival.
Maybe they plan a trip during the festival because it is long than usual.

It is much easier to accept stay alone or without family members during the holiday because of the technology development.

I think the spring festival like a signal that means new starting or good wishes for the future because compared to the previous or the long time ago we don’t have the issue of the shortage of food so the food or other goods are totally same with usual days so what you eat and what you buy I think are not much different with normal days.
We have to remain some cultural habits just to contain the meaning of the festival.

I think it is the embodiment of Chinese culture and people;s spirit

the feeling of annoyed or depressed always occupies people;s daily life because no one can just hold the good things.
People need a moment to encourage themselves and relax. have the opportunity to get relax.

When I was a teenager adults always told this is a new year you will have … all the bad things will gone with the past year.
They do not have to face the overenthusiastic questions.

They don’t think it is privacy problems , we are family members we can know all of your information.
I think it is much better than before. Teenagers and young people accept more cultural and concepts of western world so they are more sensible about their own privacy problem.
And they are more independent than before.
