We have the limit of transfer USD to mainland china so we need to hire some lawyers to help us from England to local,

When I know other companies want to invest in our company I am a little surprised but now I am sad on this. I heard the US and UK team they can easily get the money but they still have to pay taxes.

we give the increase in February but it depends on 2020 performance and there was a big impact by covid and we rely on the global team so the total package is not good so only 10% people can increase the base salary so I need to explain the rest off the employees why we didn’t increase.
if they didn’t perform well I can easily say because you didn’t hit the targets but the hardly one is I need to talk to somebody they did it in the top 10 and they are hardworking. It is hard to tell them. and we don’t want them to think the company has some issues.

They think money values them. defines their hard work, If you didn’t give any increase to them they will feel the company didn’t recognize me.

A lot of people want to get the role so one Korean employee come to me today to ask wether he can interview the role but it is only opened for people with 10 years experience in our company. but he is only 22months in our company.
But he persuades me he is good performing last year and he tries to do a lot of senior role things.

Criteria are quire strict, it is hard we need to stick to at least 2 year working experience.

He is a Korean person but he born in Canada. So he quite like the western way, he is very positive and aggressive.

They don;t care so much about money but they want to be recognized  / they feel that getting a raise is recognition for their hard work

If you don’t give any increase to them they will feel the company didn’t recognize them / their hard work. / they will feel the company doesn’t value them
