It is big problem between the 2 countries government but for citizens when we heard about that and talked about the news we just thought that it is interesting but it doesn’t matter with our daily life immediately actually because for the first long period of time the relationship between China and US is always not stable, these two countries cannot cooperate and communicate peacefully there are always have some issues or arguments between these 2 countries.
I think the root problem is economics, maybe 20 years ago the scale of Chinese economics is much smaller than USA. The US takes the advantage between the trade but nowadays the gap of these 2 countries is much smaller or much closer than before so the US still wants to take the definite advantage as before so they have to do something to weaken the influence of China.
The growth of economics in USA is much smaller than before so I think the government of US feels some threaten

There are some reasons which are hard to explain because of the war during the end of Qing dynasty China or the Qing government paid a lot of money to the European countries so actually at that time they have the foundations to develop the industry and the country but it is impossible that the same situation occurs in these days.

the situation in China is similar to the US we have some big titans like Alibaba, Tencent and Baidu the business of the companies like these is hard to break easily the market coverage of these companies is very higher and the start ups very hard to break or take the market coverage from these companies.
