conditional (2nd)

I’m 12yo boy and I am now study at Shixing middle school. My first subject math and also I like to play sports.
I like playing basketball, playing badminton and also swimming.
We have swimming class in our school. I also like reading books. Some books about like history. I like Chinese ancient history. I like Ming dynasty, it is my favorite period of History. Because Ming dynasty, there are many interesting things happen in Ming dynasty.

I think won’t go anywhere because I think many periods of time in the past are very dangerous because of the wars. And many things like houses are not very good for people to live.
Maybe 2050 because now many people say that in 2050 human cultures will develop quickly and smart so I want to go that time to see if it is true.
Maybe because I don’t want to know my future too early.
Maybe I want to go when I was 5 or 6 because I didn’t remember many things during the time and I want to go back to know like where do I live and wha t do I do everyday.

Maybe I would like to be a soldier because I can meet some interesting people in the army and be friend with them.
And now there are less and less wars and the soldiers maybe not dangerous now.

If I met my ancestors it would change something and there would be no me in this time.

I wanted to use the time machine to go the past but my parents wanted to use it to go to the future so we had a conflict.

military conflict : a conflict in which soldiers fight (smaller than a war)
Soldiers have to fight in military conflicts

soldier : someone protecting the country / serving in the army 士兵
I think soldiers are cool.

take (move): to move something or someone from one place to another 拿走，带走
I took my favorite pen to the exam. (go to the exam with your favorite pen)
My parents took me to beach this summer.
My father takes me to school in the morning.

Grammar

(2nd) conditional: tense used when talking about hypothesis/ things from your imagination:  ( talking in the present time about something that is not very likely)
If V(past simple) , would +V (base) 
If I had a time machine, I would travel to the time of the Ming dynasty
If I had the choice, I wouldn’t go anywhere.
If I had a time machine I would travel to the future. If I had the choice , I wouldn’t fail again

( 2nd )conditional practice:

If I didn’t fail again, I would become the top student
If I became the top student , The teacher would praise me.
If the teacher praised me, my parents would buy me anything I want.
If my parents bought me anything I want, I would have a good time and enjoy myself.
If I had (too much of) a good time, my score would go down.
If my score went down , My parents would punish me.
If my parents punished me, I would use the time machine and run away.
If I used the Time Machine and ran away, I would be careful in all the exams.
If I were careful in all the exams, I would be the top student in the country and go on TV.
If I were the top student in the country and went on TV, my parents would be proud of me/
