the people change it into a shopping crazy
But this year Alibaba told the concept is totally different, not the day people buy the things because of the cheaper price but the day the shopper, the brand to thanks their consumers then they want to give the best price to thank the whole year support to the shoppers. I think it is really interesting this year coz last year I was in Alibaba on 11 in Guangzhou but because we have an office in GZ and I saw the data is grow and grow. It really make me feel the real business because as a marketer you always behind the sales When I was in office its just a number but that moment the number became bigger and bigger its different feeling. I can feel how people created the number … it touched me it made me so moved.  about all we contribute
so consumer in order to have more discount they want to buy more things which they don’t really need and then they get the discount they return some parts of the goods.

We still sold for 8 millions that day. the most of the business is created by make up but globally its by flagrance.
China is a very special market. Because the fragrance market in china is not well educated for Chinese customers so the business of perfume is not so well in china but everychinese women uses make up so this business is developed very well.

I think because Chinese consumers is not used to use perfume before but as the new generation grow up they influenced by the western culture and they have much more money than the old generation so they want to try something new from western so I think a lot of young generations in China used to use perfume so the market of fragrance is the next key battle in cosmetic industry.
When you see the tracking of make up it is not growing so fast compared to the last five years it maybe go to a bottleneck so I think the next step is the perfume.
I think the market for men is developing, more and more brands want to develop the man make up market and Chanel had a product. it is called boy of Chanel. It is some make up product purely for men.

People turned it into a shopping festival.
But this year Alibaba explained the concept differently / this year Alibaba tried to promote a different concept ,
It’s not about buying things because they are cheaper but rather a way for brands to thank their loyal customers with cheaper prices. I think it is really interesting this year. Last year I was in Alibaba on 11 in Guangzhou, we  actually have an office in GZ and I saw the turnover / sales counter was growing and growing / was increasing steadily. It really made that is what business should be like. As a marketer you are always behind the data because you are in the office and you feel feel disconnected/ you don’t have any connection with the numbers but then as you see the sales increasing you understand how you get those numbers  it touched me somehow, it moved  move so much.  the way we all contribute
so consumer in order to have a higher/bigger/better discount they want to buy more things which they don’t really need and after they get the discount, they return some of the goods.

We still sold for 8 millions that day. most of the business is created/ is made by make up but globally its by flagrance. / Make up accounts for most of the business in China but globally fragrance is the biggest contributor
China is a very special market. Because the fragrance market in china is not well developed / not mature because the consumers are not so sophisticated  for Chinese customers so the perfume industry is not doing so well in china but every Chinese women uses make up so this business is a developed market that is still growing rapidly.

I think because Chinese consumers were not used to using/wearing perfume before but as the new generation is growing up they are influenced by the western culture and they have much more money/ they have a higher disposable income than the old generation so they want to try something new from the west so I think a lot of youngsters in China are getting used to perfumes / are learning about perfumes / are more educated about perfumes so the market of fragrance is the next key battle in the cosmetic industry.
When you track the evolution of make up/ when you look at trends for the make up industry it is not growing as fast as in the last five years.
It may have hit a bottleneck so I think the next step is the perfume.
I think the market for men is developing, more and more brands want to develop the man make up market and Chanel had a product. it is called boy of Chanel. It is some make up product purely for men.
