I am local here. I am Shanghainese. I work for ester Lauder. basically I do the marketing job. I like traveling and I like western culture like tv shows. music. I watch a lot of talk shows during my free time. Product marketing. I need to focus on the calendar of the next year. and since you know are an international company we need to decide if this product should be introduced in Chinese market and the focus about it.

I don’t necessary have to speak English during my work so it is mostly my hobby to learn that. You know I love traveling around the world and I think language is a tool to communicate with each other.

Super Bowl commercials:

It is funny. it is eye catching because this commercial  brings celebrities but the lines is just kind of boring. it is repetitive. it is to enhance the idea of how good product is in consumer minds.

It happens in a restaurant,  consumer wants something to drink and the celebrities just pop

Pepsi is brilliant, it is irreplaceable. It can bring you happiness.
It is funny and it is easy to remember the image is vivid.

if they invite these 2 celebrities it is already a success.

This toothpaste makes this man so confidence about his breath / mouth hygiene /. He is not afraid of being close to others
I cannot get the other reactions, they act very indifferent. If I were the director I will let this actor welcome his breath. I can’t see on their face they are suffering. that way the meaning will be more obvious

He is trying to say if you have this car the world is under your control. It uses analogies before the car comes out.
Some analogies are very interesting but I think there are not that relevant to the actual function of the car.

At first I thought It conveyed a feeling of elite, you can only get a house like this and a car like this.
