First of all, American are more straightforward in communication and expression. However Chinese and Japanese will do vice versa. In terms of expressing one’s opinion, American will express in a direct way but Chinese will state lots of irrelevant topics instead of straightforward communication .In terms of showing one’s anger, American will express unhappiness on their faces and Chinese will bury the unhappiness deeply in their heart without showing that they are obviously not happy .
Secondly, American pursue the life balance between work and life and maximizaiton of happiness during their work . However, Japanese and Chinese will be inclined to devote themselves to work and volunteer to work overtime without OT payment and extra compensation leave . I heard a story from Alipay company , IT normally work overtime to late at night to go home . Their wives are normally stay-at-home wives and they will open a wechat group to chat with each other . I heard that wechat group name is widow wife group because they cannot see their husband for a long time because their husbands are devoting themselves to work .
In a nutshell, I am more in favour of American life instead of Chinese life .
