At that time, after we start grade 3 when you have 6 practice tests after I finished  the 4th test I gave up the examination to practice.
They also gave up, because after we finish the 3rd test we have to provide our University choice list so after I provided that I gave up preparing.
I took it and it was a little better than the practice test and because I am a minority so we have the 5 points for free.
So I went to university, I got above the cut line. But I really hate the major.
But Mongolia they will get 150 points for free but only few students go to university.
At that time we felt it was unfair about the different points but after knew even Mongolian got 100 points they hard to go to the university.

I never heard about positive discrimination of the company.
In China, in our company it is very fair.

Writing exercise

When I think of my future it is very simple. I wish that I would live a normal life/routine life and live healthily with my family and friends. However we are living in a materialistic/money driven society, l just want to do what I like and keep my own living tempo/lifestyle with warmth, love and happiness. After I pass away/after I leave this world/ after my death, I wish to have/ I hope there can be a party at my funeral so that no one feels sad about my death. It means I lived honestly and enjoyed a beautiful and happy life


When I think of my future it is very simple. I wish that I would live without exciting day and live healthily with my family and friends. However we are living in a materialistic society, l just want to do what I like and keep my own living tempo with warmth, love and happiness. Finally after I passed away, I wish I could have a party at my funeral. No one feels regretful about my death. It means I lived honestly and enjoyed the beautiful and happy life

China applies positive discrimination for different minorities. For instance if you are Mongolian  you get an extra 150 points when you take the Gaokao.
